Jesus mentioned the Wide Gate to Hell —

“For the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.”

 

Then Jesus mentioned the Narrow Gate to Heaven —

“For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matt. 7:13-14).

 

The “narrow gate” leading a “few to heaven” is for those who recognize they can't save themselves, but must depend on Jesus Christ by faith. It's not through a belief in false gods or other religions, but only through Jesus. 

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me” (John 14:6).

The “wide gate” leading “many to hell” is the way of the ungodly, the prideful, and the self-indulgent, who are unwilling to give up the world and all its attractions and who are unwilling to trust in Jesus alone.

 

The real question is, “Which path are you on?”
