How to go to Heaven?
Simply receive God's free gift of forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Salvation is through:

Grace alone: You can't earn it through good works.

Faith alone: Trusting in Jesus.

Christ alone: The only way to God.
Romans 10:9 says,
“If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”
How do people go to Hell?
Essentially, they do nothing. Hell is the default position of humanity. Everyone stands condemned before a holy God due to sin. No one is good enough to make it into heaven.
The Bible makes this clear when it says,
“There is none righteous, not even one” (Rom 3:10).
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:23).
Fortunately, God offers us the free gift of eternal life in heaven by believing in Christ so we can avoid hell.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom 6:23).
