Some people arrive at this idea of being naked in heaven because clothes were only needed after Adam and Eve sinned. But before that, they were naked and unashamed (Gen. 2 and 3). Therefore, they reason that when Adam’s curse is removed in heaven, clothing will not be needed like God’s original creation.

 

However, scripture says believers in heaven will be clothed.

“He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments” (Rev. 3:5).

 

In John's vision of heaven, he says around the throne of God,

“I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes” (Rev. 4:4).

 

Based on these descriptions of people clothed in white in heaven, it appears we will not be naked.
